What is MCP?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard for connecting AI tools to external data sources. It lets AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and others access real data from services like Warm while maintaining security and control.
Which AI coding tools are supported?
Any tool that supports MCP can connect to Warm. This includes Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop, OpenCode, Codex CLI, Antigravity, Gemini CLI, and others. The integration works the same way across all tools.
What financial data can AI tools access?
AI tools can access your accounts (balances, types, institutions), transactions (amounts, merchants, categories, dates), and your financial state bundle: snapshots, recurring payments, budgets, goals, and financial health. AI chat history remains app-only.
Can AI tools modify my data?
No. The MCP server is strictly read-only. AI tools cannot modify, delete, or transfer any data. They can only query and analyze your existing financial information.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Your API key is scoped to only your accounts, the connection is encrypted, and you can revoke access instantly from Settings. AI tools never see your bank credentials.
What does this cost?
MCP access requires Warm Pro at $24.99/mo. This includes the API, MCP server, and all Pro features. Free and Plus tiers do not include API access.
