OFX/QFX File Upload

Which plans include bank connections?
Bank connections via Plaid are available on Plus ($9.99/month with 5 accounts) and Pro ($24.99/month with 30 accounts). If you do not want automatic syncing, you can still track your finances using CSV and OFX imports from supported CSV and OFX exports.
How does Plaid work?
Plaid is a secure service that connects your bank accounts to apps like Warm. When you connect an account, you log in directly with your bank through Plaid's secure window. Plaid then provides us with a token that lets us read your transaction data. Your login credentials never pass through our servers.
Can Warm move my money?
No. We only have read-only access to your accounts. We can view your balances and transactions, but we cannot move money, initiate transfers, or make any changes to your accounts.
What if my bank isn't supported?
Plaid's network includes more than 12,000 institutions, while Warm's current connection configuration is US-only. Availability varies by institution and account type. You can use supported CSV or OFX imports when a direct connection is unavailable.
How often do accounts sync?
We automatically sync your accounts as data becomes available to keep your data fresh. You can also manually refresh any account anytime from your dashboard.
What happens if I need to reconnect an account?
Banks sometimes require re-authentication, such as after a password or security change. Warm can guide you through the Plaid reconnection flow when an account needs attention.
Can I disconnect accounts later?
Absolutely. You can disconnect any account at any time from your settings. When you disconnect, we stop syncing new transactions, but your historical data remains available unless you choose to delete it.
Can I use Warm without automatic bank syncing?
Yes. You can import supported CSV or OFX files exported by your institution. The available history depends on what the file contains. Plus and Pro also support automatic account connections through Plaid.
