How do I connect Claude to Warm?

On claude.ai, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector. Name it Warm and paste this URL. https://app.warm.io/mcp Choose Add, then Connect next to Warm. Sign in to Warm, pick your access, and choose Allow access.

What can Claude see in Warm?

With read only, Claude sees balances, totals, and each transaction's date, amount, and category. It doesn't see merchant names or account details. With read and write, it also sees transaction names so it can find the right ones to change.

Can Claude change my data?

Only if you pick read and write. Claude can recategorize transactions, add and remove tags, rename transactions you added yourself, and create tag rules for future transactions. Each change waits for your approval in Warm, and an approval request expires after 10 minutes. It can't move money.

Which Warm plan do I need?

MCP and API access are included on paid Warm plans. Plus includes up to 4 bank logins. Pro includes up to 12 bank logins. Each bank login can include several accounts.

If something goes wrong.

You can't add a connector: On Team and Enterprise plans, ask an owner to add Warm.
Claude doesn't use Warm: Turn Warm on from the tools menu in the message box.
Claude says it can't make changes: Disconnect Warm, connect again, and pick Read and write.

Disconnect.

In Warm, go to Settings, then Export & API, then Connected apps. In Claude, remove Warm under Settings, then Connectors.
