# Connect your AI assistant to Warm.

Paste one URL into Claude or ChatGPT and sign in. Let it read your money, or let it tidy up your transactions with changes you approve in Warm.

In most assistants, you sign in to Warm in your browser. No API key to copy around.

## You pick what it can do.

When you sign in, Warm asks which access to give. You can change it later by disconnecting and connecting again.

### Read only

Warm Plus and Pro

Ask questions about your money. Your assistant can look, but it can't touch.

-   Net worth, cash, debt, and investment totals
-   Transaction dates, amounts, and categories
-   No merchant names, account names, or notes
-   Can't change anything in Warm

### Read and write

Warm Plus and Pro

Everything in read only, plus cleanup. Nothing changes until you approve it in Warm.

-   Recategorize transactions
-   Add and remove tags
-   Rename transactions you added yourself
-   Create tag rules for future transactions
-   Also sees transaction names, so it can find the right ones

## You approve every change.

Your assistant can't save anything on its own. It asks, Warm shows you exactly what will change, and you decide.

1.  1 Ask in plain words “Move my Uber Eats orders from last month to Restaurants.”
2.  2 Review it in Warm Your assistant sends you a link. Warm lists each transaction with its before and after.
3.  3 Approve, then it saves Approvals expire after 10 minutes. If anything changed in the meantime, Warm asks again.

These steps work on claude.ai and Claude Desktop. On Team and Enterprise plans, an owner may need to add the connector.

### ChatGPT

    In Settings, open Apps & Connectors, then Advanced settings. Turn on Developer mode.

    Choose Create connector. Name it Warm, paste the server URL, and choose OAuth. Confirm that you trust it, then choose Create.

Developer mode is available on supported ChatGPT plans.

### Gemini CLI

-   Summarize my spending by category for the last three months. I'm bringing it to my financial advisor.
-   My partner and I split rent, groceries, and utilities 60/40. What does each of us owe for last month?
-   I have a job offer for $95,000 a year. How would my monthly cash flow change?
-   What car price range fits my cash flow? Tell me what you assumed.

### Tidy up your transactions Read and write

-   Find my Uber Eats orders from last month and move them to Restaurants.
-   Tag every Costco trip this year with household, and keep the tags they already have.
-   From now on, tag my Netflix and Spotify charges as subscriptions.
-   Rename the cash payment I added on October 3 to Farmers market.
